Rosemary

Rosemary is a shrubby, perennial plant from the Lamiaceae family, renowned for its medicinal properties. Its Latin name means “healing sea dew.” Thanks to its numerous beneficial effects, rosemary is widely used in skin and hair care.

It contains rosmarinic acid, a powerful antioxidant that helps combat environmental damage and signs of aging, making it particularly suitable for mature skin. It is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties, making it effective in treating acne and eczema by preventing inflammation and dryness. Rosemary also contains vitamins A, C, and B6, as well as minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium and manganese. It promotes skin cell renewal and reduces the appearance of blemishes.

In hair care, rosemary is used as an oil or rosemary water. Thanks to carnosic acid, it stimulates scalp circulation, reduces dandruff and promotes hair growth. Rosemary oil is a valued ingredient in cosmetic products due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
